The 9th Pride Games take place as part of the Worldpride Madrid 2017 celebrations. A sports event that is open to everybody. The Pride Games celebrate diversity in the world of sports and seeks to give the LGBT community greater visibility in amateur sports. 900 athletes attended in 2016. Many more are expected in 2017.
Sports include: Football, Ping Pong, Running, Urban Hiking, Volleyball, Beach Volleyball, Swimming & Diving.

Pride Games urban walks:

Route 1: Habsburg Madrid
Join us for an urban walk through one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods in our city: right in the heart of the city centre is ‘Habsburg Madrid’ (Madrid de los Austrias), where our bilingual tour guide will lead us through the picturesque buildings and local mysteries. As well as being entertained by the anecdotes of the area, we’ll be stopping at a couple of emblematic taverns to regain strength whilst continuing with our route. The price of the activity includes one drink & snack (Spanish “caña & tapa”) in each of the taverns.

Route 2: Contemporary Madrid
This route’s main protagonist is the renowned Gran Vía and the main architectural demonstrations it contains, dating from the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries. Our bilingual guide will take us through the recent history of our city, right from the facade of the Cibeles Palace till the Cervantes Monument located in Plaza de España. During the tour, we will stop at a couple of emblematic taverns to regain strength whilst continuing with our route. The price of the activity includes one drink & snack (Spanish “caña & tapa”) in each of the taverns.
